The National Medical Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has announced that from Sunday 21st March, Sitra Mall will be transformed into a large COVID-19 vaccination center, further expanding the National Vaccination Campaign’s capacity and accommodating an increase in vaccination registrations.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Head of the National Medical Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19), HE Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and a number of senior officials will attend the official opening of the new large-scale vaccination center.
Following the official opening of the facility, citizens and residents who have registered for a COVID-19 vaccination will be able to attend the new Vaccination Center at Sitra Mall, in accordance with the specified appointment timings sent to them via SMS message.
The new Vaccination Center will provide COVID-19 vaccination options approved by the NHRA.
