VIVA Bahrain has introduced Smart Car technology in partnership with Vinli, the world’s most advanced connected-car system, under ‘VIVA Connected Life’. The innovative connected car solution was showcased to representatives of leading car dealerships in Bahrain at a gathering hosted by VIVA’s Management and Mark Haidar, Vinli’s Founder and CEO.
Installing Vinli is as easy as plugging a USB drive into a computer. All what VIVA customers need to do is just insert the Vinli device into the car’s data port, and within seconds they will have access to an endless range of apps on their smartphone, ranging from safety and entertainment to on-board Wi-Fi.

VIVA customers who subscribe for this service can enjoy 4G LTE hotspot in their cars with unlimited music and video streaming, real-time connectivity to cloud and infotainment services, and also the option of recharging data on-the-go. Vinli also offers smart features such as car diagnostics, pro-active car maintenance and much more.
Additionally, Vinli through its built-in GPS lets customers find their parked car and monitor it even when in use with real-time notifications on routine maintenance, roadside assistance, accident detection and notification. Vinli also has its own app store, where customers can download apps for the web, Android, or iOS. This app further enables customers effortless control over their car’s capabilities and deep insight into its performance, with an access to a suite of apps on the smartphone, providing additional functions not currently built into the car.
New and existing VIVA broadband customers can get Vinli on a BD 5 instalment add-on over a 12-month contract.
