SPARTA had a very successful day of Tennis on Saturday, 5 December, as they hosted the first adult and child Touch Tennis Tournament.
The event was split up into two age categories: ages 6-9 and 10-12, and they all played alongside a family member.
All games took place in the St Chris School Sports Hall in Saar, and competitors played on Badminton sized courts. Sponge balls were used to allow competitors to hit the ball as they would on a normal size court.
The structure of the tournament was based on a round robin set up. There were some very close matches leading up to the semi-finals with the 10-12 age group having three teams within a few points of each other!
Winners in the age 6-9 category: Faisal and Khalid Maseeh

Winners in the age 10-12 category: Abdulla and Isa Maseeh
