Tamkeen announced the graduation of 25 graduates of the hospitality training programme, held at the Westin Hotel. The programme, launched in cooperation with three of Bahrain’s top hotels, Sofitel Bahrain, The Westin and Le Meridien, aims to provide candidates with skills to succeed in the tourism and hospitality industry via practical on-site training.

Launched in May of 2015, training and certification for the programme was provided by Third Wave International and the William Angliss Institute. 75 Bahrainis registered for this year’s programme, who received training with content including situation responsiveness, customer care and teamwork communication amongst other skills needed by the sector in areas such as safety, reception, catering, operations and others.
