The partnership with the foundation comes as part of Tamkeen’s various initiatives to prepare the youth for the labour market and instill a spirit of entrepreneurship that allows them to grow and become productive individuals in the economy.

Commenting on the announcement, Tamkeen’s Chief Operating Officer Ms. Amal Al Kooheji, said: “Tamkeen is proud to join the Emirates Foundation to bring this year’s edition of the successful initiative forward, as both organisations share the vision of youth empowerment and developing their skills in the field of entrepreneurship. Tamkeen has always strived to offer youth programmes such as A9eel and Mashroo3i to further develop the skills of Bahrain’s future workforce, and hopes to continue to expand both its youth empowerment and entrepreneurial efforts further with local and regional partners.”

This initiative comes as part of Tamkeen’s continuous efforts to provide training and development opportunities for the Bahraini Youth with a vision to gain practical experience in the world of business. The objective of its Youth-targeting programmes is to create a movement towards entrepreneurship in Bahrain and to create a better understanding of basic business planning and other elements for a successful entrepreneurial experience within the Kingdom’s private sector.
