Tamkeen Represents Kingdom of Bahrain at EUROMENA OMAN 

Tamkeen participated as a representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain at The Euro MENA Dialogue on public Management (EUROMENA), which was held in Muscat, Oman on 24th – 27th October, 2017, where Tamkeen introduced Micro-Finance Initiative for Low Income Earning Women” as best practice.

This year, the conference was held under the slogan “modernize human resource management and performance of public institutions,” and the key aspects of the conference is human resources management and to improve of the public sector institution’s performance.

Tamkeen introduced Micro-Finance Initiative for Low Income Earning Women” to gain the appreciation of His Highness’ Royal Court, being one of the innovative government initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This initiative contributed towards supporting Bahraini women with low-income in developing their skills and increasing their income, and from which Tamkeen started its support to reach a wider scale of women, including women working from home and ones which are about to start their own businesses.

Reem Jassim the Quality Assurance Manager in Tamkeen was proud to be Bahrain’s representative in the seventh edition of the conference; stated “Micro-Finance Initiative for Low Income Earning Women” was in the best practices workshop along with various Middle East and European countries, Tamkeen is continuously supporting women amongst various levels.”

This initiative comes along with Tamkeen’s continuous efforts over the years to support women’s empowerment and encourage them to complete their journey overall development, which is led by the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
