The Child’s wish society organised iftar for 500 children with special needs, cancer patients and incurable diseases on June 9th evening at the Intercontinental Regency Hotel. The event was conducted with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The ceremony, which was attended by a group of parents, included many children’s favorite games and scenes, including face painting, coloring, henna engraving, etc. The children were also presented with the annual Eid celebrations for the fourth year in a row.

Professor Manal Al Awadhi, Chairperson of Child’s wish society, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, for his support of the Society and his patronage for various charitable and volunteer work in the Kingdom.

She stressed that his Highness’s tender and initiatives for the benefit of the citizens, especially the sick children, contributed to the introduction of happiness to their souls and ease the pain from him, and they all pray to God Almighty to preserve His Highness and sustain it good health and wellness.

She said: “His Highness is the compassionate father who embraces all his children with love and affection that embodies the qualities of good and generous.” She stressed the keenness of the society to establish activities and events that draw smiles on the children’s lips and provide them with fun, especially during the holy month of Ramadan and its distinctive Habits such as breakfast, suhoor, al-habbaqah, and qaraqoon.

She pointed out that all the participants in the breakfast of children and parents enjoyed the atmosphere that enhances the values ​​of communication and develop in the children of religious values ​​and rooted in the traditions and traditions of the original Bahraini.

On their part, the children and parents paid the highest tribute to His Royal Highness the Prime Minister for this generous gesture in the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that this is not new or surprising from His Highness, who is keen throughout the year and the month of Ramadan in particular to plant joy in the hearts of his children Of the citizens are senior and young.

They said: “The words cannot meet his right, he is in his style and his sense of human dignity was able to captivate the hearts of love and loyalty,” calling on God Almighty to preserve His Highness the father of all and to reward him for all his work and his efforts for the homeland And citizens.
