His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has received cables of congratulations from HH Shaikh Khalid and multiple ministers for the recently concluded 2021 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom’s success as a global destination for hosting major international sporting events, with experience in organising and hosting Formula 1 races since 2004, strengthening Bahrain International Circuit’s place within the F1 calendar.
His Royal Highness added that success in hosting the Formula 1 races is motivation towards further achievements and supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has congratulated the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the 2021 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
This success is in addition to the series of achievements by Bahrain through hosting and organizing this annual global race, he said.
Bahrain’s hosting of the inaugural race of the season confirms the Kingdom’s outstanding status at the organizational and logistical level in light of the challenging conditions across the world imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, he added.
HH Shaikh Khalid praised the prominent role of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to strengthen Bahrain’s sports status globally through distinguished efforts to support the race in Bahrain, contributing to the economy and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a global sports and tourism destination.
Speaker of the Council of Representatives
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a cable of congratulations from Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, on the success of the 2021 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
HE the Speaker highlighted that the global sporting event reflects Bahrain’s global position as a sports and tourism destination.
Commander of the National Guard
The Crown Prince and Prime Minster, received a cable of congratulations from the Commander of the National Guard, HH General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the success of the 2021 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, that took place at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
HH General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister which has contributed to the success of the global sporting event, despite the challenges presented by the global spread of the COVID-19.
Information Affairs Minister
Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi congratulated the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2021.
He hailed Bahrain’s success in hosting the race for the 17th consecutive year, despite the special circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, which reflected Bahrain’s edge in holding major global events as well as its national pioneering role in disseminating the culture of motorsport in the Minister, since the establishment of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in 2004, thanks to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s farsighted vision.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister received a cable of congratulations from the Minister of the Royal Court Affairs, HH Shaikh Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the success of the 2021 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
HH the Minister expressed pride in Bahrain’s successful hosting of the global sporting event, which reflects the Kingdom’s position as a global sports and tourism destination.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a cable of congratulations from the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Salah Al Salah, on the success of the 2021 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
HE Al Saleh highlighted that the successful race, that took place during these unprecedented times, has been etched as another achievement for Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HE Al Saleh also wished HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister further success in the Kingdom’s future endeavors.
