The Fun Continues with Shop Bahrain Taste Tour and In Mall Activities

‘Shop Bahrain’ the largest event in the Kingdom that aims to support the growth of the tourism and retail sectors, will continue for 10 more days until the 18th February 2017. Visitors coming to Bahrain still have the chance to enjoy a unique shopping experience filled with fun activities and win valuable prizes.

Shop Bahrain features the return of the third edition of the ‘Taste Tour’ which includes a total of 29 participating restaurants for a thirty-day period, where visitors will get the opportunity to enjoy special dishes at an affordable price ranging from BD5 to BD12. Tasters will be able to sample the set menus at participating restaurants, then drop their restaurant review cards in the raffle box to get the opportunity to win a Q50 Infinity.

The festival will mirror the Kingdom’s position as an accessible family destination and provide the residents and visitors of all ages a unique experience in a 30-day celebration as the participating shopping malls continues to host fun activities to their visitors. Additionally, ‘Shop Bahrain’ offers a the residents a visitors a chance to win valuable prizes through the Festival’s loyalty system and enter the raffle draw to win 12 cars, airline tickets, and more than 25,000 instant scratch and win prizes.

Participating shopping malls will be hosting a variety of events over the weekend, including the ‘Box of Luck’ in Seef Mall, Seef District, giving shoppers who spend BD50 and above a chance to play and catch their own prize. While visitors Seef Mall Muharraq will get the chance to enjoy playing ‘Footypool’ with their friends. Yateem Centre on the other hand will be hosting ‘Join the Game’, a number of interactive family-friendly games such as ‘Checkers’ and ‘Jenga’ where they will be able to compete with each other.  

Additionally, during the weekends, mall visitors will be able to attend an ‘Origami Workshop’ which is held at Dragon City, as they will get the chance to learn the Chinese technique of folding papers. While the ‘Shop-A-Wish Tree’ will also take place at the mall throughout the duration of the Festival and shoppers who purchase a total of BD20 in Dragon City will enter into the weekly draw to grant their wish.

Other activities that will be available throughout the Festival’s duration is the ‘Art Wall’ hosted at Al Aali Shopping Complex, this activity allows mall visitors of different ages to be creative and color on the Festival’s five meter wall during its operating hours.

In addition to Enma Mall hosting a ‘Mini Golf’ circuit daily from 4pm to 10pm, which gives the entire family the opportunity to enjoy and hit a record of the highest number of points by avoiding the various barriers. Those who love the challenge, will get the chance to experience the ‘Escape Code Room’ at Bahrain Mall with friends by gathering evidence to try and solve the puzzles and escape the locked room.

Lulu Hypermarket will be hosting ‘The Masha and Bear’ Show which will take place from 7 to 9pm, for three consecutive days in different branches on the 9th of February in Ramli Mall, 10th of February in Riffa, and 11th of February in Zinj. The ‘Dinosaur Show’ will also last for two hours from 7pm to 9pm in Ramli Mall on the 16th of February, and in Zinj on the 17th of February, and Hidd branch on the 18th of February.

As they will be able to collect 3 points in ‘Shop Bahrain’ electronic loyalty system for every BD 1 spent at the participating shopping malls and hotels. Food lovers will also get the chance to sample dishes offered by the 29 participating restaurants in the ‘Taste Tour’ and win,” commented the Director of ‘Shop Bahrain’, Yousef Al Khan.
