The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Celebrates Earth Hour

The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa, joined the rest of the world to switch off all non-essential lights within the property for one hour on the 30th of March 2019, to honor Earth Hour, the world’s largest public action towards environmental change.

During this one hour “Lights Out” period The Hotel featured poster, poetry and acoustic singing competitions and one of Bahrain’s leading school Nadeen School participated for these competitions, together with hotel in-house guests, visitors and colleagues.

The evening began with a countdown followed by a video presentation compiled by the children of Nadeen School, related to the saving MOTHER EARTH our environment and the evening ended successfully with the announcement of the winners and a group photo.

“We are always eager to participate in such communal and social activities, which complements our hotels corporate responsibility program”, Said Fares Yactine, General Manager, we have always been using the best practice with our ambition of saving energy for the good of mother earth he added.
