THE HARBOUR ROW CHARITY COLOR RUN

GFH REAL ESTATE AND ROYAL CHARITY ORGANIZATION ANNOUNCE THE HARBOUR ROW CHARITY COLOR RUN

Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization, GFH Real Estate (GFHRE), the real estate arm of GFH Financial Group, and the Royal Charity Organization today announced the “Harbour Row Color Run”.

The “Harbour Row Color Run”, being organised by in collaboration with the Bahrain Road Runners, is set to take place on Saturday the 8th of April 2017. The 2KM run will take place at GFHRE’s landmark Harbour Row development at the Bahrain Financial Harbour and will kick off at 9am.

Runners of all levels are encouraged to take part with registration proceeds going to support the development of employment opportunities for local widows in Bahrain through the Royal Charity Orgainzation’s “Bakery Project”.

Commenting, Mr. Majed AlKhan, CEO at GFHRE, said, “We are delighted to announce GFHRE’s collaboration with the Royal Charity Society to launch the “Harbour Row Color Run”. As a developer and investor in the Kingdom’s economy it is our aim to ensure that we to meet our corporate responsibility to all segments of Bahraini society and, in particular, projects that help to support the creation of employment and economic opportunity for families. We look forward to welcoming runners and the general public to the Harbour Row and to making this run a great success for those it benefits.”

Dr Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General at the Royal Charity Society, added, “In line with the ongoing efforts of the Royal Charity Society to help empower and support important charitable causes across the Kingdom, we are pleased to announce this exciting run in cooperation with GFHRE. “The Bakery Project,” which will be the beneficiary of our joint efforts, is an important one that will help to empower and employ widows in the Kingdom. We encourage everyone to come out, take part and show their support for this noteworthy cause.”
