In line with its long-standing commitment towards the community, VIVA Bahrain – through its CSR arm, VIVA Jusoor – celebrated Labour Day this year with over 800 labourers across Bahrain. A host of entertainment activities were held across major Labour camps in Bahrain, during which labourers enjoyed karaoke, Live music and DJ performances, free ice cream and full-course meals distributed with the help of VIVA volunteers.
In his comment, VIVA Bahrain Chief Government Affairs Officer, Shaikh Zeyad bin Faisal Al Khalifa said, “We would like to thank every hardworking labourer here who is working for a better Bahrain and express our sincere appreciation to the volunteers who saw value in this humble, yet impactful effort. The ambience was filled with smiles and laughter and successfully boosted the labourers’ morale as we planned for, which only comes to show how simple acts of kindness can go a long way.”
He concluded, “We hope to continue celebrating the community, and ultimately empower the country through VIVA Jusoor.”
