VIVA hosts the Economic Development Board, Turkish startups and Korean delegation

The Kingdom’s leading telecom operator, VIVA Bahrain recently hosted the Economic Development Board (EDB) team and Turkish and Korean delegates at its Innovation Center.

The first visit by the Turkish delegates was part of their presence at the Techweek event  in Bahrain to explore business opportunities with different accelerators, incubators and ICT players. The delegates included representatives from various Turkish startup companies including Appcent, AutoTrainBrain, Fazla Gida, Reminisce.

Turkish Startups

The second delegation comprised Korean start-up companies visting Bahrain as part of Born2Global – Korean government agency under the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) that aims to support national startup ecosystem and over 100 scale up companies in their efforts to debuts on the global markets annually.

As part of the delegations’ visit, VIVA Bahrain conducted a special tour of its state-of-the-art Innovation Center – a hub to develop and showcase breakthrough technologies and solutions for SME’s and corporates. This visit was in line with VIVA Bahrain collaborating with the government in its efforts to highlight the Kingdom’s technological advancements and showcasing the telecom operator’s ICT capabilities.
