Ramadan is a time of giving and there is no greater cause than to show how an act of kindness can leave a positive mark. We truly believe that giving is not just about donation, it is about making a difference, and we urge everyone to join in and help us make a difference together as by the end of the campaign, we will match the donations made throughout the month”.
This Ramadan and following the success of previous years, VIVA Bahrain through its CSR arm, VIVA Jusoor, is renewing its commitment to the community and has kicked off Ramadan community-driven activities such as the wide-reaching ‘Ifar Sa’em’ community initiative, which distribute Iftar meals to the less fortunate across the kingdom. VIVA will also be distributing food baskets containing essential food items to various charities, families and individuals and over 100,000 bottles of water at mosques across the island during Taraweeh and Qeyam Al-Layl prayers. Moreover, its partnership with Conserving Bounties Society will continue during the holy month and will ensure delivering surplus food from large gathering events, hotels and restaurants to the families in need in various neighbourhoods across the island.
