The first prize was awarded to Vanguards team in the games category. UOB Smart Trash team won the world citizenship category and Team Spectra won the innovation category.
The Economic Development Board, Tamkeen, eGov and Informatics Authority supported the event. These teams are headed to represent Bahrain at the world finals next month at Cairo. The panel of jury selected these teams through a rigorous selection process from amongst teams of a maximum of four members who were allowed to register till the end of last month.
