Yas Mall, in partnership with Emirates Wildlife Society – WWF, brings the Great Green Race ‘treasure hunt’ for the first time to raise awareness about the importance of marine conservation. The race will offer corporates the opportunity to race against one another in a series of rounds, solving environmentally themed riddles hidden around the mall, exclusively on 24 February.
Businesses everywhere are encouraged to sign up for a fun-filled morning, promoting the value of our natural habitat, with a focus on the sea. It is a place where marine lovers and environmental enthusiasts come together to raise awareness of endangered Marine life in and around Abu Dhabi.
The Great Green Race, the first ‘treasure hunt of its kind is a problem-solving team challenge for corporate or sponsored entries which will involve locating and completing challenges in 10 different locations within Yas Mall. The challenge represents a mix of intellectual and physical tasks assigned to teams made of corporates who are expected to take two hours to complete the Great Green Race.
Selected retailers within Yas Mall such as VOX Cinemas, Fun Works, Adventure HQ, Giraffe Restaurant, NStyle Nail and Beauty Lounge, Go Sports, Tasleeh, Battle zone, and Geant Hypermarket will be supporting the event by hosting race challenges and donating prizes with environmentally-oriented themes.
The Great Green Race will be held at the Race Village in Town Square where a variety of stands will be installed featuring educational content for visitors and students, focused on sustainability and the importance of preserving the environment.
