Youth Pioneer Society Launches its Enterpreneurship Development Program “Chance 2017” in Signing Ceremony of MOU with the Program’s Partners

Youth Pioneer Society launched the 3rd edition of its entrepreneurship development program “Chance 2017,” during the signing ceremony of MOU with the program’s partners. The ceremony took place in ART Rotana Hotel in Amwaj Islands last Sunday, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), Chairman of the Bahrain Society for SME Development, along with representatives of the program’s media, creative and success partners.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director of Human Resources, Media and Communications in the Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), Mr. Hassan Al-Binmohammed, said the BDB’s support for such programs and activities is one of the most important goals sought by the bank as a development bank. He praised the program and its achievements throughout the last 3 years, and the Youth Pioneer’s Society’s activities and programs that contribute to the support of the ambitious youth. Al-Binmohammed hopes for more programs and volunteering activities that contribute to the overall development, especially in the field of entrepreneurship, calling on the private sector to take a bigger role and contribute in supporting these youth volunteering programs.

The Chairman of the Bahrain Society for SME Development, Mr. Ahmad Al-Salloum, is delighted and pleased to sign a partnership agreement with “Chance 2017” program, where the society will allocate offices to the winners of the program, indicating that the program will add to the market new business projects and ideas. He emphasised that the Bahrain Society for SME Development was eager from the beginning to participate in the 3rd edition of the program, and wishing the Youth Pioneer Society and the “Chance 2017” program all the best in achieving more successes in the future.

The Founder and Managing Director of Mievento Creative Hub, Ms. Shahd Al-Zaki, mentioned that her participation this year will be as a part of the program’s organizing team, asserting that this edition of the program will be different from previous years in terms of the included workshops, field visits, the participants’ selection process, in addition to the wide variety of prizes for this year, which will help the participants significantly in starting their business. She conveyed her good wishes for the continuous success of the program “Chance 2017,” and the prosperity of all the other activities of the Youth Pioneer Society
