Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunications provider in the Kingdom, held an assessment day for the Future University Network (FUN) program, designed to train Bahraini university students through exposing them to real business world challenges that will increase their employability skills and prepare them for the labor market after graduation.

Nearly 70 Bahraini students ages 19-24 were invited to the program assessment day, during which they were exposed to real business challenges and activities designed to assess their teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Dana Bukhammas, Director, Human Resources of Zain Bahrain said: “The FUN program offers students a true business skills and development experience that prepares them to tackle real business challenges in their future careers. Zain Bahrain’s Youth Development program, the (FUN), is in line our social corporate responsibility strategy, and we are committed to support the participants in exploring their talents and skills, strengths and opportunities for growth, and work closely with them to become the future leaders and effective contributors to the Bahraini community.”

Based on the assessment day, a group of students will be selected for the FUN training program, they will receive 4 to 5 weeks of in-house training which will consist of three stages – theoretical, practical and business simulation. The participants will be tested after each stage, and the successful candidates will start their 16 months training journey in different departments within Zain Bahrain.
