Zain Bahrain to highlight diversity in the workplace as Gold Sponsor of Unbound Innovation Festival 2019

Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom, has been announced as the Gold Sponsor and Official Telecom Partner of Unbound Innovation Festival 2019. This marks the second year of Zain Bahrain’s support for the popular event, which will take place from 6th to 7th of March in Bahrain National Theatre.

As Gold Sponsor and Official Telecom Partner, Zain Bahrain will host a panel discussion on ‘diversity in the workplace’ in partnership with C5 Accelerate on 6th of March, and will feature Fatima Haider, Zain Bahrain’s Organizational Development Specialist. The panel will emphasise on the importance of diversity in the workplace, how companies can align diversity practices with their organizational goals and whether diversity is an inclusion fad or a competitive advantage. It will also highlight cultural barriers and gender bias challenges in the workplace and how can organisations avoid such issues when recruiting.

Additionally, Zain Bahrain will provide attendees with complimentary Zain WiFi throughout the event.

Sh. Abdulla Al-Khalifa, Zain Bahrain Director of Corporate Communication & Investor Relations, said: “True diversity is achieved not just by ensuring that employees from various backgrounds are selected for employment, but by creating a culture of inclusion in which all employees feel that they are equally contributing and accepted members of the organization. Zain Bahrain has diversity-driven incentive programs to help solve workplace challenges and enhance a diverse environment.”

Zain Bahrain is proud to be the gold sponsor of Unbound Innovation Festival 2019 for the second year.  Unbound 2019 will attract more than 4,000 start-ups, investors and businesses from Bahrain and beyond, who will hear from multiple influential speakers, uncover pioneering ideas, and take part in immersive brand experiences, hackathons, startup battles and networking sessions.
