Zain Racing, Zain Bahrain’s in-house team for racing events, is set to compete in the SODI World Finals 2017 in Paris, going head to head with the top 20 karting teams in the world in the Endurance Cup category. The 12-hour race will take place on the 26th of this month. This follows the team’s impressive third-place finish at the Muscat Speedway 24 Hours Endurance Race in Oman, where the team was officially recognised as “Semi-Pro” by the karting world’s premier ranking agency, SODI World Series (SWS).
“Zain Racing has had an impeccable season and the fact that we’ve qualified for such an important race is proof of all the hard work the team has put in,” commented Zain Bahrain Corporate Communications manager, Ghazi Faisal Radhi, who also manages the team. “It gives us immense pride to represent Bahrain at such a prestigious platform, and we’re looking forward to a spectacular finish in Paris!”
Zain Racing’s team consists of drivers Khalid Abdulla, Raed Raffi, and Duarte Lopez, with Raghib Alanni as strategist and Mr. Radhi as team manager.
