Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the leading Bahrain-based Aluminium producer, demonstrated its commitment towards the development of the Bahraini society by attending the inauguration of the Summer Basketball Camp 2016, held on July 27th, 2016 at the Alba club.
Offered for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Summer Basketball Camp is an initiative by Global Coach Organization, under the leadership of Ex-NBA coach Sam Vincent and aims at providing the youth with world-class skill coaching opportunities under the direct supervision of renowned basketball coaches and mentors.
The opening ceremony of the camp, which is co-sponsored by Alba and the US embassy, was attended by Alba acting Director of Administration Waleed Tamimi, in the presence of Alba Club Management, volunteers, US Embassy officials and the participating coaches from Global Coach Organization.
Commenting on the opening ceremony, Alba’s acting Admin Director, Waleed Tamimi said:

The Summer Basketball Camp will last for 5 days and feature numerous reactional, educational and skill-development activities.
