A French Soiree

Crowne Plaza Bahrain hosted a fabulously French themed evening on Monday, the 10th October at its La Mosaique restaurant to officially launch their “French Theme” night.

The evening was inaugurated by HE Mr. Regnauld Fabre, Ambassador of France in Bahrain. He was accompanied by the management team Mr. Gilles Nicolas, the General Manager of Crowne Plaza and the Executive Chef, David Miras, a few French dignitaries and prominent media heads.

The French love their food, there’s no doubt about it. They have a real passion for both cooking and tasting. French cuisine is almost a philosophy; we keep our old values by not denaturalising the product, but one can see that French cuisine has evolved – Its bursting with health, good sense and good taste but at the same time affordable, ‘says Gilles Nicolas, General Manager at Crowne Plaza Bahrain.

They were treated to an evening of French delights that included Oysters with condiments, Foie gras on toasted brioche and crepes suzette flambees . The extensive buffet menu composed of the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Each dish was a harmonious blend of great ingredients and right technique without compromising the overall flavor of the dish, which bring out subtle nuances of French tastes.

Behind the scenes is our Executive Chef David Miras who brings a new lease of life to the Crowne Plaza Bahrain operations and has already whipped up some culinary creations such as the Flavours of India at Spices restaurant and new theme nights – Mexican & Asian night at the La Mosaique restaurant and his latest addition – French Night, designed to delight people all over Bahrain. With all his French suave and culinary genius, the French theme is going to be a big hit.

The latest trend in restaurants is ‘back to basics’. From Michelin-starred chefs to French-style restaurants, everyone realizes that what the market is now looking for is value for money and everyday meals instead of a ‘one time’ experience. People are very focused on how much they spend but it doesn’t mean they need to compromise on having great food or going out to have fun. Therefore, I strongly believe, our French theme is going to be popular due to the fantastic offer as we try to provide good experience and great food without breaking the bank, says David Miras, our executive Chef.

The French theme night will be hosted every Monday, at La Mosaique restaurant. Some classics are expected to make a weekly appearance are -Boeuf bourguignon, Roulade Thermidor , beurre safrané ,Papillote de Mérou, Moules marinieres, Mille-feuille à la vanille and Paris-brest. Don’t miss out on this fabulous French feast.
