The book launch is an extension of the “Culture and Diplomacy” conference, jointly organised by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, BACA, and the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies in October 2019.

The book features a series of articles examining the role of soft power in diplomatic relations, the strength of culture in fortifying global ties and the overall developments of cultural institutions, practices and technologies.

The Culture and Diplomacy Conference shed light on many important aspects of the cultural heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain and their impact as soft powers on Bahrain’s cultural diplomacy.

The conference affirmed the importance of cooperation between the diplomatic and cultural sectors, and tackled a number of topics, including culture and international relations, cultural soft power, arts, music and diplomacy.
