Bahrain’s biggest water park LPOD scoops ‘Brand of the Year Award’

The Lost Paradise of Dilmun (LPOD) water park Bahrain has scooped the ‘Brand of the Year’ 2019-2020 at the World Branding Awards in London.

The international award ceremony was at Kensington Palace, London. Honoring some of the best global and national brands in recognition of their work, achievements and excellence.

“LPOD brand campaigns which include ad campaigns, digital activations, PR and in collaborations with suitable social media influencers and other platforms for the water park have seen the brand seamlessly command immense credibility across segments and all age brackets,”. The CEO of the LPOD in a statement said.

The water park covers an overall area of around 77,000 square meters. A built-up area of 45,000 square meters and about 20,000 square meters for future expansion and car parking. With massive vicinity the park can accommodate 5,000 guests at one time.

“The award at a time when the park has embarked on its 13th season is indeed a great honor to be recognized as a brand of the year in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Thanks to the efforts of entire team and management in making sure that we always meet and exceed visitors’ expectations,”. Dr. Essa Faqeeh, CEO Al Areen Investment Company, said.

The water park attracts yearly over 200,000 visitors with massive plans to upgrade by bringing more attractions. This is to keep excitement and fun levels high for the visitors. LPOD currently offers 20 attractions and it’s planning to add more in the upcoming years.

Now, Lost Paradise of Dilmun Bahrain RANK NUMBER 11 IN WORLD’S BEST WATER PARKS. The largest travel planning site announced it. The winners of its Trip Advisor award for Amusement Parks and Water Parks.

“From relaxing lazy rivers to thrilling rides, these Travelers’ Choice and certificate of excellence award – winners offer amazing entertainment options for visitors young and young at heart,” Trip Advisor said.

Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for amusement parks and water parks worldwide, spanning over a 12-month period.

The LPOD water park has achieved official certification from world renowned International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In addition, to ensure the international standards on quality management, health and safety procedures. The LPOD water park has also secured the prestigious certification of ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001 – 2007.

“This certification is also a testament to LPOD Water Park’s sound business model and its commitment to putting our guest’s needs as a top priority. This also reiterates the fact that the company and the management is on the right track in leading the way for the Kingdom’s hospitality and leisure industry’s levels that of world class service and quality,” the Company statement added.

Each attraction has its own operating team and lifeguards. All lifeguards undergo training and had to pass the The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) exam.

With exhilarating slides and a diverse array of food and beverage outlets, including a healthy kiosk for the health-conscious. The Waterpark retains it cozy feel ambiance, focusing on guest and kids’ safety and security. Its constant guests are mostly families from the Kingdom and the region; however, its popularity has been established even overseas.

With nearly 13 years of operations, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun continues to assert on leveraging its regional profile that saw an annual increase of inbound tourism since its inception, said Dr.Essa Faqeeh.
