Whether a lawyer, citizen or resident; the bundle of court and cases eServices on the national portal (Bahrain.bh) allow users to easily handle follow-ups on their case files as well as perform their legal transactions more efficiently and conveniently.

Developed in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority; the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf facilitate the judicial process and procedures carried-out in courts by providing users with multiple online channels in order to reduce efforts and time of waiting in long queues and to immediately deliver information for all concerned parties of the court case like citizens and residents, lawyers or judges.

The newly-enhanced comprehensive group of eServices will not only improve and raise judicial performance and provide high-quality online services; they will also speed the process of judges and lawyers. Discontinuing the exchange of papers for case files will also reduce printing costs and prevents any risks of accessibility to personal information.

The developed online services – available only in Arabic – are related to civil, Shareia and criminal cases through the Court Cases Services. The Execution Services include opening execution files, submitting requests and paying the due amounts – reducing timespan to complete transactions as well as minimizing operational costs by integrating court departments and applicants – making judicial cases run more smoothly and in a timely manner via the national portal.
The Notifications & Juridical Announcement Services assist when enquiring about the status of case file by receiving text messages rather than physically visiting courts. Additionally, the Licenses & Attorney feature provides services related to the power of attorney’s requests, authorizations and the licenses of lawyers together with experts.
