When we met Mr. Faisal at BUN BUN, it was opening time and the meticulous staffs were busy setting the place for the soon expected crowd.
“As a banker I have been working with numbers until recently” said Mr. Faisal “Now when am in the world of food, am better satisfied”.
Mr. Faisal started his first home made burger and sandwich place at Dammam in Saudi Arabia under the name ‘Yellow Berry’. The place has received wide acceptance from the crowd in and out of Saudi and is now in the process of opening a new branch in Riyadh as well. “Yes, it is difficult to commute between Saudi and Bahrain. But it is the beginning phase and to be successful we need to accept the hardships involved.”, Continues Mr. Faisal. “We are now in the process of Making Yellow Berry an International brand. The initial trade mark and branding procedures are over and we are soon expecting to have our branches opened in UAE and UK as well”.
A dedicated man he is, Mr. Faisal had worked real hard to reach where he is now. When he decided to turn his interest towards food as business, Mr. Faisal travelled around gathering knowledge on the industry and the secret behind delivering tasty cuisines. Getting trained from some of the best schools in Italy and England, he came back to his base to set up Yellow Berry and BUN BUN serving signature food of international quality with no compromise on the taste.
Supporting Mr. Faisal in his journey of success is his loving wife, who is the creative brain behind the stunning interiors of BUN BUN. “Behind every successful man is a woman”, he quoted with a smile.
A perfectionist, Mr. Faisal leaves nothing unturned when delivering food to his customers. You may find the items in the BUN BUN menu, elsewhere but the taste, No Where other than in here. The dishes you order are served in 5 star qualities and as Mr. Faisal says “None of our customers have so far left without taking a picture of the food served”. “It should be a feast to the eyes first and then it should be tasted. The whole process gets completed only then”.
Everything including the breads, pastries and sauce that you get served here in BUN BUN is homemade chef’s secret recipe. “The raw material comes directly from the market with special care and we even have items directly imported for some of our recipes.” said Mr Faisal sharing his secret of success. “Every vegetable, fruits, raw materials needs to be treated with special care to get the exact taste. It requires good training and experience. Our Chef Maher Ramzi is an expert in this and has never let our customer expectations down”.
