Campinya won the first place in the “Mashroo3i” Youth Business Awards competition, organised by Tamkeen as part of its efforts prepare the youth for the labour market. One of 30 competing finalist teams, Campinya won under the advanced track for its project that revolves around organising summer and spring camps to build and develop personality as well as explore the capabilities, skills and potential of girls aged between 14 and 19.
Campinya team, which consists of Reem Al Jamea and Latifa Al Kuwaiti, and was mentored by entrepreneur Dina Shbeib, received a majority vote from judges and the public that visited the“Mashroo3i” exhibition, held between 12 and 13 May at the West Wing of Seef Mall.
Think Smart team, mentored by entrepreneur Mohammad Bucheeri, consisting of Fatima Al Sayyed Abduljabbar Al Wadiea, Mariam Abbas Abdulaziz and Hanaa Abdullah Ahmad, won the first place as part of the Juniors Track.
Uski Studios and QuickShop teams claimed the second and third places, respectively, under the advanced track, while 4 in One and I Controller won the second and third places under the juniors track.

The teams showed their unique potential, working relentlessly to develop working ideas and models in line with the variables and realities that exist in the Kingdom’s economy. Tamkeen will continue to support any Bahraini who wishes to start a project that contributes to the development of the local economy and raises the profile of the Kingdom.”
This year’s edition of Mashroo3i included an additional eight awards that are category-based. The results were as follows: Liganchi team: Best Business Plan of the Year; Flovers: Business Model; Design Your Happiness: Marketing, Sales and Promotion; EcoArt: Most Responsible Business of the Year; Fatima Al Atawi: Charismatic Entrepreneur of the Year; EcoWheelz: Innovation; Learn Up: E-Business of the Year; Basketball_BH: Active Use of Social Media.
This year, 75 teams took part in the competition, and 30 were shortlisted for the final phase of the competition, which included a special exhibition showcasing the business projects and prototype of participants.
The first three winners will receive support packages from Tamkeen, including incubation opportunities as well as local and international internship opportunities in related fields.
