Capital Governorate and Wahaj Cultural Initiative Join Forces to Amplify Youth Engagement and Community Enrichment

On the occasion of International Youth Day, the capital governorate, represented by Mr. Yusuf Lorri, Director of Information and Follow-up, held a discussion session with members from Wahaj Cultural Initiative, which is a non-profit initiative led by Bahraini Youth.

The aim of this group discussion was to discuss potential partnerships, projects and other types of collaboration between both parties.

Mr. Yusuf Lorri praised the role of Wahaj in organizing different types of cultural events for the public and encouraging community service amongst its members.

Members of Wahaj Cultural Initiative stressed on their end the importance of maintaining close ties with such respected institutions to ensure the continuity of these efforts, since Wahaj’s vision is in line with the Kingdom’s Social Responsibility Goals.

Members of Wahaj also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the continuous efforts made by the Capital Governorate and their support when it comes to youth empowerment.

To conclude, both parties emphasized the importance of unifying efforts to be able to give back to the community in the most efficient way.
