Lebanon’s own Fakhreddine is the star of middle-eastern mixed martial arts thanks to his all-action, aggressive style and thrilling knockout power.

He recently became a father and this has only served to motivate him ahead of the biggest fight of his life.

“I’m fighting for my little boy now, to provide a future for him, bigger fights, bigger paychecks and nobody can stand in my way,” he said. “Mr. Vieira, welcome to Bahrain. When you wake up on the 24th September, there will be a 1 next to your 8.”

Thiago Vieira (8-0) has been walking through his opposition thus far, defeating five in the first round and three in the second – all via knockout or submission.

The man they call “Monstro” has become greatly feared in Brazil and his tall, imposing figure, together with his brutal striking capabilities, make him a scary prospect to fight.

But Fakhreddine “The Latest” insisted that he can be the one to stand up to “Monstro” and hand him his first defeat in devastating fashion.

“I’ve never been scared of monsters,” he said sarcastically . “He has been bullying his opponents in Brazil, but he won’t bully me. I will look him in the eye, walk forward and beat him down with my fists.”

Fakhreddine has only one defeat to his name, via submission, and he has since avenged that defeat. He will have the partisan crowd behind him when he steps into the cage, but he won’t be underestimating his opponent, who has recently been training at one of the top gyms in the world, Alliance MMA.

This fight is a mouth-watering main event for fight fans due to the aggressive styles of both fighters, who both like to walk forward and utilize their striking abilities.

Neither like to take a backwards step, which makes this clash of the bullies all the more interesting.

Brave Combat Federation’s first event Brave: The Beginning takes place on September 23rd at Khalifa Sports City, Isa Town, Bahrain. Tickets are already on sale at bravefights.com.
