NBB Sponsors Ahli Club at This Year’s Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) is the primary sponsor of Al-Ahli Bahrain, one of the Kingdom’s leading volleyball clubs, as it prepares to compete in the 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship, taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain between 14th and 21st May. Matches will be played indoors at Isa Sports City’s state-of-the-art facilities in Riffa and teams from many different countries in Asia will be competing.

The bank’s support of Al-Ahli Bahrain demonstrates its continued efforts to actively promote sports initiatives locally and throughout the Middle East. The tournament will be broadcast on regional sports channels including BTV, ensuring that fans from Bahrain and other GCC countries are able to tune in and watch this exciting sporting event.

Reflecting on the forthcoming competition, Mohamed Alqassimi, Business Marketing and Partnerships Manager, at the National Bank of Bahrain said; ‘We are extremely proud to be sponsoring our local volleyball club as it gears up to compete in the 2023 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship in Bahrain. The forthcoming competition will see some of the greatest volleyball teams in the world competing in Bahrain and we are delighted to support such an important sporting tournament.
