The Board of Governors of St Christopher’s visited both the Primary and Senior school premises last week, and met with the teachers, staff and sat in on classes with the students.

Tim Murray, Chair of the Board of Governors, and CEO of Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) said, “The Board of Governors is deeply committed to the development of St Christopher’s and ensuring that it remains at the forefront of British and international education, in the region and globally. St Christopher’s is a community that is very important in shaping the characters and future of tomorrow’s young leaders. There is a deep sense of pride amongst the students, and the school provides diverse opportunities in different fields such as academics, sports, art, drama, music and community education.”

Tim added, “The Board has recently appointed an international recruitment firm to search for a new principal for September 2018. We are confident that we will be able to appoint a new principal who is passionate about education and continues the pursuit of excellence.”

Ed Goodwin, the Principal of St. Christopher’s said, “St Christopher’s faculty includes passionate teachers, support staff and management who care deeply about the students, the school and its future. We are always seeking to develop even better approaches to teaching and learning and to provide diverse opportunities to help our students along the road to becoming good, global citizens.”
