The students were taken through the complete transition of thinking about an idea of pitching, market planning, and financial planning.

As part of this program, secondary school students introduced to careers through a one-day, virtual orientation, enabling them to learn more about the workplace and career opportunities available. Furthermore, the program endeavors to help students identify and demonstrate the work-readiness skills needed to research, get, and keep a job as well as develop innovative personal strategies and to pursue lifelong learning and career opportunities.

The workshop was competitive with teams participating in the process through a set of educational activities and recreational games. The workshop was guided and mentored by stc Bahrain volunteers as well as others from the private sector. On top of that the students were given access to a digital eLearning platform to further develop their skills.

For the Virtual Job Shadow workshop, stc Bahrain will be conducting 3 sessions including a site visit, with the first session “Perfect Match” comprising students working in groups to identify and evaluating the 16 Success Skills for their preparation of the Job Shadow site-visit. The second session “Now What?” will require students to individually prepare a resume and complete the paperwork necessary for the upcoming Job Shadow site-visit.
