On the radar of our Taste of Tradition this week, we have the Al Bindaira Café —a beautiful joint ensconced in Adliya, Riffa, City Center and Al A’ali Complex , each wrapped around a warm traditional Arabic core.  Al Bindaira Café has recently introduced a fresh and revamped experience for all foodies in the Kingdom. Be it a quick break from work in order to unwind with friends or quality time with family, you will be welcomed at Al Bindaira Café, with a hefty menu filled with delectable choices.

The suave Arabian setting of Al Bindaira Café makes it one of the best spots to meet friends and family over a table of authentic dishes. Its new menu combines hot and cold classic Middle Eastern mezze, soups, charcoal grills, as well as regional and international dishes with an extensive variety of hot drinks and juices.

Steaming hot king prawns, sea bream fillets,  Arabic veal tajine, spinach and chicken casserole, beef lasagna are among the new dishes added to their menu. But what hooked BTW to Al Bindaira Café this week, is their new mouth-watering mixed seafood grills prepared by the café’s Head Chef Mr. Hisham Abu Tair. Here is how Mr. Tair prepares this:

Let’s get the ingredients listed

(Cooking time: 15 minutes)

l 100g salmon fillet

l 100g hamour fish fillet

l 100g suprême fish fillet

l 1 pes king prawn

l 2 tsp granulated brown sugar

l 1 ½ tbsp mustard

l 2 tsp garlic

l 100ml lemon

l 50ml olive oil

l Salt and pepper

Method

1. Mix mustard, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper in medium bowl.

2. Marinate fish and prawn.

3. Wrap and fridge for three hours.

4. Grill fish and prawn with half sliced lemon until golden brown.

5. Add green salad and potato fries on a side.
