Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, announced the appointment of Hisham Al Kooheji as the new Manager for Customers Services & Market Operations on Wednesday, 17 May 2017.
Hisham joined Alba in April 2011 as an Operational Excellence Specialist and was appointed as the Head of Compliance and Pricing in May 2016. He was designated the role of Acting Manager Customer Services and Marketing Operations in November 2016.
Congratulating Hesham on his promotion, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said:
“Hisham’s appointment reflects Alba’s commitment to develop Bahraini nationals from within the Company into key leadership positions.
Hisham has demonstrated a sound command in enhancing our customers’ portfolio and his knowledge will be an advantage to Alba as we expand our global footprint with the ramp-up of Line 6 in 2019.”
Hisham holds a BA in Economics, an MSc in International Business & Finance from the University of Reading, UK as well as an MBA from the College of William and Mary, US.
