Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the leading Bahrain based Aluminium smelter, continued its efforts towards developing the local talents and attracting the kingdom’s highest academic achievers through its annual support and participation in the University of Bahrain’s (UOB) job market-focused event: the “Career Day”, in its 16th consecutive year, at the University Campus in Sakhir.
The opening ceremony — inaugurated by the Minister of Education His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Ali bin Hassan Al Noaimi and the UOB President Dr. Riyadh Hamza on Monday, March 28th 2016 — was attended by the acting Admin Director, Dr Elham Al Eid along with other Alba officials.
Speaking about Alba’s participation, Alba’s acting Admin Director, Dr. Elham said:
“We, at Alba, believe in the importance of supporting the talented Bahrainis through the provision of attractive career opportunities and ongoing training programs. Our participation in UOB‘s 16th Career Day is an excellent opportunity for us to meet the students and educate them on what Alba can offer them in term of future career and training options.”
Alba has been a regular participant of UOB’s Careers Day since its inception in 1999, and the company’s stand has always attracted a large number of students eager to know about the company and the career opportunities that it offers.
