Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), in line with its commitment to 2017 Expectations of Safety Tomorrowland, launched the Summer Safety Challenge Campaign on Tuesday, 18 July 2017.
Aimed at raising safety awareness during summer, the Summer Safety Challenge unveiled three areas of focus: Stop Lost Time Injuries (LTIs); Decrease Injuries; and Have Zero Heat Exhaustions.
Speaking about this new Campaign, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said:
“Safety is our number one priority and the focus of the Summer Safety Challenge is to raise awareness about the extreme heat and operating conditions during the summer months.
This Campaign is part of Alba’s infinite Safety journey to achieve its goals of Safety Tomorrowland.”
The Summer Safety Challenge Campaign will be held from July to September and comprise site-visits, presentations on Safety and awareness sessions for all employees and contractors.
