Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based aluminium smelter, marked International Labour Day with a spectacular Family Day event, which was held for all Alba employees and their families at Adhari Park on Tuesday 01 May 2017.
Speaking on this occasion, Alba’s Chief Financial Officer, Ali Al Baqali said:
“Alba owes its success to the hard work and loyalty of its workers as well as their families.
The Family Day celebrations give us an opportunity to express our gratitude to Alba’s workers for their hard work and acknowledge their families’ support in Alba’s success.”
The day-long event had activities for the entire family and comprised games, refreshments, competitions, music and entertainment.
In addition, there were different presentations on Safety, Health and Environment conducted by the Ministry of Interior (MOI) as well as free medical check-ups for visitors.
