AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Announces Registration for Rayaat Scholarship Program

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced the opening of registration for its ‘Rayaat Scholarship Program’ for the academic year of 2018/2019.

The “Rayaat Scholarship’ program was launched in line with the foundation’s vision to empower young Bahraini students to achieve excellence and reach their ambitions and to provide them with more opportunities to continue their university education, as well as to create an educated generation capable of facing challenges to contribute to developing the society.

The registration phase is scheduled to run for a full month starting from 1 to 31 March, 2018. The selection process will be based on academic achievement, interview, and volunteering and community services experience. This year, the program will also provide 40 scholarships in partner universities to obtain a Bachelor Degree from the University of Bahrain (UoB) and Bahrain Polytechnic.

Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees’ of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia, expressed her great pleasure in opening the registration for the Scholarship Program during the coming period. Her Highness also stressed her belief in a more conscious and educated generation, based on the increased interest received from Bahraini students to obtain a university degree. The objectives of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation are mainly to support students and encourage them to benefit from the various activities and initiatives provided and to ensure their personal development at all levels to be able to build the Kingdom’s future.

Interested applicants can apply through AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation’s website. Students will be selected after a thorough process based on academic achievement, interview, and volunteering and community services experience.

The “Rayaat Scholarship” program was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement and personal development through providing students with scholarship opportunities at accredited universities in the Kingdom. The program provides scholarships for students to join an accredited university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as offering many benefits including financial incentives, workshops and opportunities. Training in the public and private sectors, as it also offers opportunities to promote a culture of ‘community responsibility” by instilling volunteerism and community service in a supportive environment.
