ART Rotana Hosts Works of Emerging Bahraini Painter

In line with providing budding artists a platform to exhibit their work, ART Rotana Amwaj Islands, hosts yet another emerging artist and painter Saud Torani as part of the Hotel’s ‘Seasons of Art’ initiative. A selection of his artwork has gone up at the hotel and will be kept for public display throughout the month of September.

With a passion of drawing and painting since the age of 5, Saud Torani is inspired by his surroundings particularly with the Bahraini heritage. His work explores the complexity of social and political relationships in human behaviour, in which the memories and factual narratives about historical and symbolic figures and shifted and revised across time. His diverse visual language is engaged in an ongoing conversation with history and memory.

The ‘Seasons of ART’ initiative forms part of the Hotel’s mission to engage with the local arts community and establish the hotel as a Hub for artists and arts enthusiasts alike.
