Sheikh Daij bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ASEAN Bahrain Council, stressed the important role played by the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) in supporting the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom and accelerating the growth of the national economy as an important tributary of the basic economic tributary.
This came during the visit of the President and members of the ASEAN Bahrain Council to the headquarters of (GPIC), where they met with the CEO of the company, Engineer Yasser Al-Abbasi, and a number of company officials, in the presence of the ambassadors of the Sultanate of Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Sheikh Daij appreciated the company’s efforts to raise the level of the development process and improve work and production to benefit economic activity in the Kingdom. The visit witnessed an exchange of views on the best ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, and the importance of finding innovative ways to invest in the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and ASEAN countries to open broader horizons of joint industrial investments
