ASEAN Secretary-General Meets Bahrain Council Chairman for Trade Talks

In a recent meeting, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, engaged in discussions with Shaikh Daij Isa duaij Hamad AlKhalifa, Chairman of the ASEAN Bahrain Council. The focus was on enhancing trade, investment, and fostering business collaboration between ASEAN and Bahrain. The ASEAN Council Bahrain, pioneered in 2017 under the leadership of His Excellency Sheikh Daij bin Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, marks a significant milestone as the first ASEAN Council in the Arabian Gulf region and the Middle East, duly acknowledged by the Association of ASEAN Nations.
