Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Sameer Nass expressed pride in the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Pakistan, emphasizing the strong collaboration in various fields, particularly trade and economic cooperation.  This came as he received the Pakistani ambassador to Bahrain Saqib Rauf, on Monday, December 11th  2023 at the Chamber’s premises.

The meeting hailed the significant growth in trade between Bahrain and Pakistan and discussed the anticipated benefits of the Free Trade Agreement, to be signed between the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Pakistan, expected to further strengthen trade and business. Speaking at the meeting H.E Saqib Rauf reiterated pride in the Bahraini-Pakistani tie and cooperation across the diplomatic, social, and economic fields.  He also highlighted the growing trade between both countries, which surpassed the 1 billion US dollars mark.

Present at the meeting were Bahrain Chamber’s First vice-Chairman Khalid Najibi, board members Ahmed Al Saloom and Yousif Salahuddin.
