Scores of families attended the fun-filled Gergaoun event organized by the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) last night at Bab Al Bahrain. The event, attended by the Chief Executive of BTEA, Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, included a number of activities such as traditional games and entertainment acts along with food stations.
“We are delighted that the public were able to celebrate the Gergaoun event with us right in the heart of Manama. Our aim is to revive the Bab Al Bahrain and the traditional souk of Manama,” said Shaikh Khalid.
The Gergaoun event is held as a part of the ‘Manama Gulf Capital of Tourism 2016’ calendar of events.
