: Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) and MODA Mall, recently concluded a fire drill evacuation exercise in cooperation with Bahrain Civil Defense and Ministry of Interior, as part of its continuous efforts to ensure a safe business and shopping environment for tenants and visitors alike. The fire drill, part of the annual routine exercise, reviewed BWTC and MODA Mall’s general safety plans and the effectiveness of emergency and fire equipment that would be necessary to provide for an orderly and safe evacuation, in the event of an emergency.
During the process, BWTC and MODA Mall management team and employees, tenants and visitors were guided by Fire Marshalls to escape routes and fire exits and directed to assemble in designated area around the parking lot, where they were briefed on emergency protocols. This periodic exercise is critical for BWTC and MODA Mall to prepare for crisis situations, and maximize safety for all.
