The weigh-in’s of the inaugural Brave Combat Federation took place a few hours ago at the Royal Phoenicia Hotel in Bahrain with all fighters making weight. The weigh-in featured the 20 combatants facing off each other one last time before they meet inside the cage to determine which one of them will walk out the winner.
Rami Aziz and Abdulkareem Al Selwady had a few choice words for each other during their face-off and it appears that both fighters cannot wait to settle the score once and for all inside the cage. This has been in the making for over 18 months.
Thiago Vieira looked sensational on-stage and raring to go! He mentioned that he was very happy that his opponent, Gadzhiev, accepted the fight on such short notice but was not taking the Daghestani striker lightly.
Ahmed Amir made a point of challenging Richie Martinez to a grappling match after their bout, a suggestion which Martinez seemed very willing to oblige to. Martinez also suggested that whatever happens in this fight, he can guarantee that it will take home Fight of the Night honours!
The highest support was reserved for the hometown favourites, Eldar Eldarov, Hamzah Kooheji and the other KHK MMA fighters.
