Crowne Plaza Bahrain supports Pink Brigade initiative

It’s that time of the year where we again start thinking about all things pink and Crowne Plaza is proud to be part of the Pink Brigade 2016. It was their executive Chef, David Miras, who initiated this project and supported the cause by having his team by wearing the jackets and the aprons through the month. The wonderful Chefs and culinary teams from the Crowne Plaza, Bahrain have really got behind the Pink Brigade initiative to show solidarity against such a horrific disease by wearing the Chef jackets and the pink aprons.

It is Claire that felt so passionately about optimum nutrition, fresh, natural and ‘clean’ foods that she truly believed gave her body the best chance of fighting breast cancer. It is in her memory, that Nourish and the Pink Brigade continue to strive boldly ahead, raising awareness for the early detection of breast cancer. Chef Robert Stokes, was already well-known throughout the region for successfully raising breast cancer awareness through his initiative ‘The Pink Brigade’ with bespoke personalized pink Chefs Jackets and aprons. This amazing awareness and fundraising campaign for breast cancer has managed to bring chefs together from the UAE, UK, Australia and Canada raising over AED100,000 and much needed awareness and support those affected by breast cancer.
