There was plenty of electricity in the air at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir as National Race Day got off to a scintillating start at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.
With five championships taking to the tarmac, it was sure to be a busy day for all around BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Track.
Ryan Cullen headlined the proceedings with a pole-to-flag victory in the first race of round five in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East.
Also making a splash on day one were Josh Files, Shaikh Salman bin Isa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Mishal Alneaimi and Ali Alshammari.
Files was competing in the TCR Middle East Series, Shaikh Salman in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East, Alneaimi in the Bahrain Superbike Championship and Alshammari in the Bahrain Motorcycle Racing (BMR) 600.
