Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the biggest urban development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, welcomed a visiting delegation from the American Women Association, on the 28th of January 2016.
Upon arrival, the 25 member visiting delegation was welcomed by officials from Diyar Al Muharraq as well as Chinamex, who accompanied the delegation on an informative tour of the recently opened Dragon City.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq Dr. Maher Al Shaer said: “On behalf of Diyar Al Muharraq, I would like to express my pleasure to welcome our visitors from the American Women Association. Having such a significant delegation visit Dragon City, speaks volumes of the sheer amount of publicity and exposure Diyar Al Muharraq is generating within all sectors of the community within Bahrain. Inaugurated in December 2015, Dragon City has attracted waves of public interest that surpassed all expectations. As the first essential project of Diyar Al Muahrraq to be opened to the public, Dragon City is set to rake vast beneficial opportunities, impacting positively on the lifestyle of the residents of Bahrain”.

Spread over a total land area of 115,000 square meters, Dragon City is the first of its kind development in Bahrain, which offers unique wholesale and retail opportunities to local consumers, trade customers and tourists. The Dragon City concept was launched in May 2012 as the result of an agreement between Diyar Al Muharraq and Chinamex and Cluttons was appointed as the leasing agent for the project in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
