DJ Outlaw Officially Joins Brave Combat Federation

While it takes intense training, world-class skills and maybe even a bit of luck to register an MMA win, picking the right music to excite the fans or to accompany the fighter to the cage is a key talent, as well.

Bahrain’s pioneering hip-hop DJ/producer DJ Outlaw, has been chosen as the official DJ for the new MMA promotion Brave Combat Federation.

Brave“,  product of KHK MMA, founded by H.H. Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and will launch its first show next month on September 23rd. Athletes from the

Middle East and Worldwide will be competing against each-other on this show under mixed martial arts rules, in this Bahrain-based promotion, which has set tongues wagging around the world.

The KHK MMA brainchild, “Brave“, will be putting on regular shows featuring the world’s finest MMA fighters in an event broadcast worldwide, with plans to expand outside the middle east in 2017.

The man responsible for the music in these shows will be the highly renowned DJ Outlaw, who has produced multiple hits and has played at some of the hottest clubs in the middle-east, in Qatar, Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

DJ Outlaw has also shared the stage with world-renowned DJ’s such as Fatman Scoop, DMC of RUN DMC, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Born Mohammed AlMohri AKA Outlaw, he is the founding member of Outlaw Productions Creative Studio and was born and raised in Bahrain. His musical career started back in ’97 when he began as an independent DJ.

Outlaw released his debut studio album “History in the Making” in 2009 featuring many local and international artists combined. It is the first Bahraini hip hop album to be distributed in musical outlets across the country as well as being sold on all digital distribution companies including iTunes and Amazon.

This new job will be the first of its kind of the OUTLAW. Music is a big part of the entertainment aspect of an event and a fighter’s walkout song is an integral part of his personality. Although, it doesn’t have anything to do with what happens inside of the Cage, it’s the first thing that fans see before the gladiator goes to combat.
