Ebrahim K. Kanoo held an internal ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of the first batch of its Bahraini graduate trainee program ‘Tomooh’.
‘Tomooh’ (Arabic for ambition) is Ebrahim K. Kanoo’s two year recruitment and development program, designed to provide both general professional skills and specialist technical development opportunities to Bahraini graduates. The graduates are selected from different majors and go through a job rotation schedule in order to understand every division of the company and decide where their individual strengths can be best utilised. This year marks the successful completion of the first batch of 10 Bahraini graduates completing their two-year company rotation and final placements.
Ebrahim K. Kanoo Managing Director, Mr. Talal Kanoo congratulated the students on their success and highlighted them as the future of the company stating, “At Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo we strongly believe in recruiting talented, ambitious Bahrainis and developing their potential to the fullest. The Tomooh program was created to hire the brightest minds from across the kingdom to learn about our business and see if they could find areas of improvement. I am very proud to say that we have had interesting suggestions from our graduates, many of which have already been implemented in the business.
